Two decades of service, one conviction: when a Jain woman is given a trusted platform, she builds, leads and gives back.
Anitha Suman Pirgal joined JITO at its inception in 2006 and has served the Ladies Wing in nearly every office, from Vice President of JIWO to Chairperson of JLW Bangalore, Mentor to JLW Bangalore North and South, and JLW Apex Convenor for two national verticals, JIIF and JPoint.
Her work has one thread: bringing professionalism to JLW, and opening programmes once reserved for a few to every Jain woman, in every city and town. Shark Angels, investor master classes, the She Mart marketplace and nationwide bulk-deal campaigns all began on her desk.
Outside JITO she is Managing Trustee of the S B Pirgal Charitable Trust, heads the Pirgal Aradhana Bhavan at Shankheshwar, runs an Indriya jewellery store, and advises the Fab Group across finance, real estate, student housing, energy and wealth.
Brought JIIF’s investor pitch format to the JLW national stage. Two women-led startups drew ₹35 lakh of investor interest.
Sessions on pitching, building a brand and becoming an angel investor, now a permanent library on JLW’s YouTube.
A national event co-hosted with KKG Zone and both Bangalore chapters, with Bharat Oswal and women founders.
Led JLW’s partnership in JITO’s festive campaign: Eze, Peps, Dyson, Audi, Indriya and more, ₹2.85 crore in deals.
A national investor-education series for women with LXME’s Priti Rathi Gupta. 300+ joined a single session.
Her idea: a digital marketplace on JPoint where homepreneurs become Shepreneurs, with master classes in branding, pricing and packaging.

As Chief Secretary, I will carry every JITO vertical to every woman, in every metro and tier-2 and tier-3 town: one calendar, monthly reporting, a mentoring circle for chapter Chairpersons, and a national leaderboard so chapters compete on impact. Financial and digital literacy, AI and cyber-safety, skills, sports, yoga and fitness for every member; a JLW Vihar Dham for Sadhu-Sadhvis and girls’ hostels under JLW; a Guinness record attempt with a nationwide UDAAN lifestyle exhibition; and international collaborations with JAINA and United Nations Women.
